Reg-to inks

The inks you use to paint reg-to lines are called reg-off, reg-over, and reg-under:

Normally, a reg drawing is ordered above its reg-to drawing(s), which means that:
However, should a reg-to drawing be above all its reg drawings, all the reg-to lines remain with the reg-to drawing, and are composited immediately above its paint layer.

When you're inking a reg-to layer, these regging inks appear in the palette. They replace the unpainted, transparent and original trace wells - which you can't use for reg-to drawings. The opaque well remains, so you can recolor reg-to lines when you're creating a matte from a regged drawing.
